Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq are closing in on Everton's fringe player Demerai Gray, as per The Mail.

The Premier League side is close to reaching an agreement with Al-Ettifaq regarding the 27-year-old.

Gray is reportedly unhappy due to a lack of play time under manager Sean Dyche and is keen on leaving the Toffees.

The Saudis are pushing to seal the deal, however, Everton are yet to accept the offered terms.

The English club brought in the Jamaica international from Bayer Leverkusen for €2 million in 2021.

The deal is set to cost the Saudis around €10 million.
