Arsenal are keeping a close eye on Barcelona captain Sergi Roberto, as reported by Spanish outlet Sport.
The versatile star who usually plays as a right-back is a January target for Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta.
The 31-year-old's current deal is set to expire at the end of the season and he is available for the January transfer market.
Roberto only made eight appearances thus far this campaign and may prefer to leave Barca in search of playing opportunities.
He is also capable of scoring goals and has visited the net three times for Barcelona this season.
The London-based club can get the Spaniard for a low fee considering he has less than half a year remaining in his deal.
