RCO, Real Madrid renew training contract

Following directives from the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, RCO Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed signed, on behalf of RCO, a renewal agreement with Real Madrid in Spain in the famous Santiago Bernabeu Stadium,

The agreement aims to train Bahraini orphans in sports education values, team work, cooperation, and skills to discover talents.

This extension of the contract is based on the success of the existing agreement.

Dr. Al Sayed said it is a wonderful coincidence that at the time RCO was signing the agreement in Madrid, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Honorary President of the Royal Charity Organisation, was meeting former King Juan Carlos, the Honorary President of Real Madrid.

Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed his satisfaction at the good relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Spain, and appreciated the good efforts of the Royal Charity Organisation and the Bahrain football association in serving the orphans of Bahrain.

Real Madrid President Florentino Perez had sent a letter to HM the King in which he expressed pride in the good relations that has raised sports and philanthropic relation to its best level between our two organizations.

He also praised Shaikh Nasser's leadership in this regard.
