CAF 2014 player of the year nominees

The Confederation Africain Football (CAF) has announced the nominees for the 2014 African Player of the Year award.
 
The winner will be decided by votes from the Head Coaches/Technical Directors of the National Associations affiliated to CAF - the governing body for African football with the winners being announced on Thursday, 8 January 2015 in Lagos, Nigeria. Manchester City midfielder, is the reigning winner of the accolade is one of the favorites to win the award.
