Press reports confirmed that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) is ready to launch a new tournament similar to the European Nations League, recently launched by the Union of the European Football Associations (UEFA).
According to the Morocco World News website, CAF will launch an African version of the UEFA Nations League, which was launched in its first edition on September 6 last year as It will be called League of African Nations.
The website added that the launch of this tournament "may be on December 28 in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, and the first matches will be played in August 2019.
