Chelsea (4-1-0) were nearly shocked by Aston Villa last season at Stamford Bridge and they will look to prevent this season’s much improved performances from the Villains from having another play for stealing away three points in London.
The Blues are only without Ramires and after last weekend’s draw with Manchester City, Jose Mourinho is certain to put a fire under his players to get three points at home.
Aston Villa (3-1-1) were ripped apart in a five minute period at home by Arsenal last weekend when they switched off for only a short time. Villa cannot afford to lose their cool at all against Chelsea otherwise the floodgates could open up.
Christian Benteke has returned to training but he is not expected to feature while Ron Vlaar is still battling back and Libor Kozak remains ruled out.
