Premier League heavyweights Chelsea and Manchester City are set to compete with Real Madrid in the race for Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies this summer, as per HITC.

The Canadian star, who has just one year left in his current deal, has been linked with a move away from the German giants.

Real Madrid are hoping to sign the 23-year-old, due to Ferland Mendy's repeated injuries.

Meanwhile, Chelsea and City are both in the market for a new fullback and are planning to submit bids for Davies.

The Canada international moved to Bayern in 2019 for a reported fee of €14 million from Vancouver Whitecaps.

He went on to make 195 appearances for the Bavarian club across all competitions.

The left-back is currently valued at €50m, according to Transfermarkt.
