Defending domestic league champion, Dhofar Club, sent a strong signal of its intention to defend its title on Saturday as it defeated His Majesty’s Cup winner, Al Suwaiq Club, 2-1, to clinch the 2017 Super Cup, the traditional curtain-raiser to the Oman Football Association season, at the Seeb Sports Stadium.
The Omantel Professional League, now renamed Omantel League, will kick-off on September 13.
