World number one Novak Djokovic has extended his unbeaten run to 21 matches as he beat his Spanish opponent David Ferrer in straight sets to book a spot in the Italian Open final.
The Serbian produced a perfect blend of precision and power as he smacked 26 winners to battle past Ferrer 6-4, 6-4 in their semi-final contest in Rome that lasted for over an hour.
Djokovic, who remains on course for his fourth ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title in 2015, will now face three-time finalist Roger Federer in the final.
