State-owned sports management company Estadat Holding denied news it has purchased an Egyptian football club, without naming the club, according to a November 4th Facebook statement.
The announcement comes after Misr for Central Clearing, Depository, and Registry (MCDR) said it sold its 70% equity in Misr Lel Makkasa Club to Estadat.
MCDR reportedly approved last month an offer from Estadat to purchase the sponsorship rights of Makkasa Club.
