The match started slowly with both teams playing it safe, but it turned into an exciting game in the second half.

Match Highlights and Goals

Ronald Koeman’s team took the lead in the 51st minute when Virgil van Dijk scored a header after an impressive cross by Ryan Gravenberch.

Japan responded quickly when Keito Nakamura scored with a great shot past goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen, who couldn’t see the ball coming.

The Netherlands took the lead again after Summerville scored in the 64th minute, and it looked like they were going to secure the 3 points, but Japan fought until the end and scored equalizer by substitute Koki Ogawa in the 90th minute
