Kuwait Disabled Sport Club said on Wednesday that Kuwaiti shooter Atef Al-Dosari has qualified for the World Paralympic Games in South Korea next year in two shot gun competitions.

The club's deputy chairman Nasser Al-Ajmi told KUNA by phone from Croatia that Al-Dosari qualified for the World Cup during the world shooting tourney currently being held in Croatia with participation of more than 100 players from 26 countries.

Al-Ajmi, who is also the head of the delegation participating in the qualifying competition for the World Championships, said that Al-Dosari had qualified through the R4 (mixed 10m air rifle standing) along with 24 shooters, in addition to his achievement in the R5 shooting competition with 29 participating shooters.

He praised Al-Dosary's participation in the tournament, which saw the participation of the world's best shooters and athletes qualifying for the World Championship, which is the second most important tournament after the Paralympic Games, which is held every two years.
