Liverpool have begun the search for a long-term replacement to their star Mohamed Salah.

The Egypt international is being targeted by the Saudi Pro League as he enters the final year of his deal with the Reds next season.

Liverpool have identified Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo as a potential successor to Salah, according to the Express.

The 24-year-old had an excellent start to the season before suffering an injury.

Mbeumo scored seven goals and provided four assists in 15 league appearances and appears to be a prime target for Liverpool if "Mo" were to depart in the summer.
