Manchester United reportedly joined the race to complete the £40 million transfer of Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.
The Red Devils have been monitoring the Frenchman’s situation, and it appears the Spanish giants are ready to part ways with the striker.
Real Madrid are ready to sell him for a profit, and reinvest the funds in a younger striker. They believe Benzema, 27, is close to his maximum value now, and are set to cash in.
Arsenal and Liverpool are also keen on the French international.
