Manchester United are pondering a move for Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah this summer, as reported by Sky Sports Germany.

The Red Devils were initially targeting Bayern Munich opponent Matthijs de Ligt, but they failed to reach an agreement over the transfer.

Therefore, it appears that the English giants are now looking to bring in Tah, who is tied to the Bundesliga champions until the end of next season.

Tah has become a key figure for both Leverkusen and the German national team.

His current market value is at €30 million, as per Transfermarkt.
