Manchester United have reportedly submitted a £25 million bid to sign Barcelona's young midfielder Fermin Lopez, as per SPORT.

However, the offer was immediately rejected, as the Catalan giants believe the 21-year-old is worth much more than what United are offering.

The Spaniard rose to stardom last season and quickly became an important part of Barcelona's first team under previous manager Xavi Hernandez.

Fermin went on to score eleven goals in 43 appearances for Barca across all competitions.

His current deal expires in the summer of 2027.
