Man City vs Tottenham: Projected lineups

Published November 24th, 2013 - 12:09 GMT

Both Manchester City and Tottenham have all to play for on Sunday afternoon as whomever takes three points will jump into the top four.

City's last outing against Sunderland was a result that many could say was possible but never believed would have happened. A week after having crushed Norwich City 7-0, they were defeated 0-1 by the Black Cats yet again and they now have a lot to fight for in terms of getting back on track.

Spurs likewise suffered a shocking loss to one of the Tyne-Wear Derby sides as Newcastle came to London and ran out 0-1 winners on the back of one of the season's best goalkeeper performances thus far by Tim Krul.

Tottenham have not won at the Etihad since 2010 when they secured their 2010-11 trip to the UEFA Champions League, and this weekend they desperately need to break their duck and get three points in Manchester.

City will continue to be without David Silva, Vincent Kompany and Stevan Jovetic as well as possibly without a doubtful Fernandinho.

Could the missing links for City be enough to allow Spurs to have a chance?

That remains to be seen as the last few meetings have been determined by a single goal and Spurs are struggling desperately for goals.
