"The club have officially signed Roma's friendly match contract with the marketing company," Ahly said in a statement via its official website.
"The match will take place in the United Arab Emirates on 20 May.
"There will be a press conference on Tuesday to announce all the details of the match," the statement concluded.
Both sides met in a summer friendly game in 2002 in Cairo, with Ahly claiming a 2-1 victory over a side boasting the likes of former Argentina great Gabriel Batistuta and Italian striker Vincenzo Montella, who scored a penalty.
However, the Giallorossi had the upper hand in another match in Cairo in 2008, defeating Ahly 3-0 courtesy of goals from Mauro Esposito, Matteo Brighi and David Pizarro.
Egypt's Mohamed Salah has been one of Roma's best performers since joining last summer as the club battle for a UEFA Champions League spot next season.
Ahly currently lead the Egyptian league table with 56 points from 24 matches, 11 clear of champions and rivals Zamalek.
Roma lie third in Italy's Serie A table with 71 points from 35 matches, 14 behind champions Juventus.
