The Omani goalkeeper was delighted on winning his second Player of the Year award in English football since joining Bolton Wanderers in 2006. He had previously won the Player of the Season award with Wigan in 2011.
Speaking to Muscat Daily shortly after receiving the award, the Omani shot-stopper said, “I am very happy to have been named Player of the Season. It is a big achievement for me.
