Emirates airline, an official FIFA worldwide partner, has signed him on as its global ambassador, coinciding with the FIFA World Cup in Brazil this summer.
Pele is recorded as the only man to lift three World Cup titles, in 1958, 1962 and 1970. In 2000, he jointly received with Maradona the one-off FIFA Player of the Century award and was recently awarded the FIFA Ballon d'Or Prix d'Honneur for his lifetime achievements.
