Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly ended their pursuit of Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva.

Le Parisien revealed that the 29-year-old is no longer part of PSG's plans for next season.

The French giants have set their sights on Napoli's star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who is only 23 years of age.

Silva who is planning for a return to Benfica eventually signed an extension at City last summer, committing his future to the Cityzens until 2026.

The new deal includes a release clause of £50 million if he were to demand a move later on.
