Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling turned down an astonishing offer of around £1 million-a-week from Saudi Arabia last summer, as per The Telegraph.

The 29-year-old currently earns over £300,000-a-week.

However, the England international snubbed a lucrative contract from Saudi Arabia last year which would have made him amongst the SPL's highest earners.

Sterling is tied to the London-based club until the summer of 2027.

He has scored in his team's 1-1 draw at Manchester City on Saturday in the Premier League.
