Egypt's Mohamed Salah continued his superb goal-scoring run with a superb strike on Saturday as Fiorentina claimed a 2-0 home victory over Sampdoria in the Italian Serie A.

The red-hot winger, who has been a revelation since joining Fiorentina from Chelsea on a six-month loan deal in January, notched his fourth league goal in seven appearances to double the hosts' advantage after Alessandro Diamanti had given them a 61st-minute lead.

On 64 minutes, Salah slalomed his way into the area, skipping past a couple of challengers in the process before firing home with his weak right foot to beat Sampdoria keeper at the near post.

He took his tally to seven goals in 12 appearances with Fiorentina in all competitions.

Recent reports linked Salah with a summer move to several European outfits, including Italian giants Juventus and German side Wolfsburg.
