Manchester United midfielder Sofyan Amrabat may not be signed permanently following a difficult start to life at Old Trafford.

The Morocco international moved to the Red Devils on loan from Fiorentina in the summer with the English giants having a buy option in the deal.

The player pushed for the transfer at the end of last season after impressing with both his national team and Fiorentina.

However, the 27-year-old defensive midfielder is yet to find his feet under coach Erik ten Hag who has left him out of the team on several occasions recently.

Meanwhile, 18-year-old Kobbie Mainoo managed to prove himself in the same role against Everton on Sunday.

Amrabat has made 11 appearances for Manchester United across all competitions since his arrival with no clear signs of improvment thus far.
