Kuwait's Public Authority for Youth and Sports chief Sheikh Ahmad Mansour Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah has stressed the need for support of sports and youth activities for Syrian refugees living under difficult conditions.
Speaking to KUNA after attending Executive Bureau of the Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports Council talks on Tuesday, he said that ministers discussed assistance on the matter to neighbouring countries of Syria, like Jordan and Lebanon.
Other matters that were discussed were related to internal financial and funding matters, and the youth sports programmes schedule.
Of an earlier encounter between the ministers and Egypt's President Abdelfatah Al-Sisi, he said suggestions and advice were given that he hailed as highly-regarded. (pickup previous) ms.sd
