Tunisia secured their place in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations after hammering Liberia 4-1 at home on Sunday.

The Tunisians made a perfect start, thanks to Wahbi Kharzi who opened the scoring after five minutes.

Midfielder Yassine Khenissi doubled the score ten minutes before the break while veteran striker Saber Khalifa made it three in the 73rd minute.

Lahmar Hamza completed the rout four minutes later, while Liberia's striker Paye scored the consolation goal for his side in the 71st minute.

Tunisia top the standings of Group A with 13 points, two ahead Togo.

Despite second place in their group, Togo booked a place at the Cup as one of the best runners-up within all thirteen groups.

In group B, DR Congo finished top of their group with a 4-1 win over Central African Republic and booked a place in the next year's Africa Cup of Nations. Congo ended the qualifiers in their group with 15 points, five points ahead of second-placed Central African Republic
