The Tunisian football will take part in the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) through numerous actions and sensitisation messages, the Tunisian Football Federation announced.

During a meeting, Monday, between federation President Wadii Jerry and UNICEF Representative in Tunis Lila Pieters, it was agreed to associate the Tunisian soccer with two key dates in matters of child rights, that of December 11, 1946, date of UNICEF creation and that of November 20, 1989, date of the UN General Assembly's adoption of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, ratified by Tunisia, January 30, 1992.

Thus, numerous actions and sensitisation messages will be launched as of the next friendly opposing the national football team to Mauritania's, November 15 in Gabes, as part of their preparation for CAN Gabon 2017.

These actions will go on till December 11, 2016, date of the second leg 3rd day games of Tunisia's Soccer League 1 first phase, according to the same source.
