The French champions, who have had a disappointing start in their Ligue 1 campaign thus far, will be facing an unstoppable Barcelona who have yet to concede a goal this season.

PSG, who will be without striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, will have to be at their best to compete with an incredible Barcelona side. However, the Parisians do have a bit of faith on their side after losing to Barca on just away goals in the Champions League quarterfinals two seasons ago.

Despite being shattered with the news of Ibrahimovic's absence a day before the match, the Parisians are fully capable of getting a good result against Barcelona.

Each player will have to step up, especially Blaise Matuidi, who will more than likely captain le rouge and bleu, due to the absence of Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva. Despite getting a win in their mid week clash against Caen on Wednesday, the Parisians increased their draw streak to six after being held in Toulouse.

PSG are unpredictable at times and truthfully, it would not be fair to say that they would get blown out by Barcelona. PSG have shown that they are a talented team, the start of the season has been disappointing but not terrible.

If anything, this will give a chance to the younger players such as Marquinhos, Marco Veratti, Gregory Van der Wiel and Lucas, to step up. It'll also be very important for Edison Cavani to take the lead and score goals. He will, other than Salvatore Sirigui, arguably become PSG's most important player in this match.

The defense will have a difficult challenge with the Barcelona attack who can and will take advantage of the Parisians if they make a slip up. Lionel Messi is no longer the main player to be cautious of, Neymar is. It's becoming clear that the Neymar-Messi partnership is something lethal and PSG's back line must keep their eyes open.

Paris SG coach Laurent Blanc, spoke about the upcoming match to PSG.com and discussed his optimism for his team,  "Barcelona, is an extraordinary match, a fantastic match, for the players, the coach, the media and the supporters... for everyone that loves football."

"When this team has the ball, they are very difficult to play against. If we don't have a strong team performance on Tuesday, it will be very tough to get a result against Barca."

"We have to go into the match believing that we can win. In my opinion, the best way to compete is to try and play our football. I think Paris Saint-Germain will rediscover it's best form by playing football.

"That's our philosophy, it worked so well last season. I don't think all our confidence has just evaporated."

This Champions League match against Barcelona will be big for PSG, especially for Laurent Blanc as rumors continue to circulate about his future with the club.

With a good result, the Parisians will have a good chance of making it out their group, but with a bad result, things can turn sour quickly. But, without a doubt, the match will certainly be one to watch. Both teams are high caliber and successful in their own rights. And tomorrow, it will be interesting to see if PSG can put an end to Barcelona's recent dominance.

Predicted score:

PSG 1-3 Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain are good but Barcelona are better, at least this season they are. They have dominated La Liga and appear to be unstoppable. PSG are just too weak right now, there is no stability currently with key players such as Ezequiel Lavezzi, Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all being out injured. They have failed to win many times this season and Barcelona can take full advantage of PSG right now, in the state that they are in. Neymar and Messi for Barcelona are just unstoppable, Lionel Messi is proving himself to be a perfectly complete player, Neymar is scoring goals left and right. If this was a match based on what has been seen so far this season, Barcelona would win without a doubt.

Projected Starting IX:

PSG: Sirigiu, Luiz, Van der Wiel, Marquinhos, Maxwell, Veratti, Lucas, Matuidi (c), Cabaye, Pastore, Cavani.

Barcelona: Bravo, Alves, Mascherano, Mathieu, Alva, Busquets, Xavi, Rakitic, Pedro, Messi, Neymar.
