Manchester United star Robin van Persie has said that he is not content with just claiming the club's 13th Premier League title and wants to win more trophies.

The club can achieve a Premier League-record haul of 96 points by winning each of their last four games, having claimed the title on Monday night with a 3-0 win over Aston Villa, thanks to a majestic hat-trick from Van Persie, The Sun reports.

Starved for silverware for a long time, the Dutchman said that the win has set the new standard for their team, adding that they have to make sure that they win every year to keep the bar raised.

Van Persie, who left Arsenal last summer, further said that even though he is pleased with his first title win, he is not content and wants to win the FA Cup, Champions League and the League Cup in the future, adding that he is confident that the club will be champions every year from now on.

Sharing his celebrations of a first title win with veteran Ryan Giggs, who was celebrating his 13th, Van Persie further said that it is an honour to play with Giggs as he sets an example for the other players by the way he plays.

According to Van Persie, although Giggs is 39 years old, he is still fit and is a true challenge for any player. (ANI)
