Ecuador is staring their chance at qualification straight in the face. In a must win match against France to ensure their knockout stage progression, they could not have asked for a worse time to face the hottest team in the tournament.

If Ecuador lose, they will have to depend on an Honduras low scoring victory as their only saving grace will be goal difference.

France on the other hand are through not matter if they win or lose, unless they lose unexpectedly massively, and are set to top the group.

A draw would guarantee the France wins the group, but would not be a good enough result for Ecuador unless Switzerland and Honduras play to a low scoring draw.

France already have stormed out of the gates with goals galore and they are looking to continue their hot streak and keep the goals coming against Ecuador as they prepare for a battle in the next round.

Yohan Cabaye will miss the match due to suspension for France and both Laurent Koscielny and Mamadou Sakho have picked up knocks but are expected to make the start in the middle of the defense together.

Ecuador Starting XI: Dominguez: Paredes, Erazo, Guagua, Ayovi; Valencia, Minda, Noboa, Montero; Valencia, Caicedo.

France Starting XI: Lloris: Sagna, Koscielny, Sakho, Digne; Pogba, Schneiderlin, Matuidi; Sissoko, Benzema, Griezmann.
