The Syrian Musicians Union has announced that prominent Syrian singer George Fahed, famous for his folkloric songs and the former Head of the Musicians Union, has passed away. George, who is the father of prominent Syrian actor Abed Fahed and director Amer Fahed, passed away in the governorate of Al Lathikiah.
The head of the Musicians Union said that the late singer passed after suffering a health ailment for many years. The funeral ceremony will take place in Al Lathikiah.
