Egyptian belly dancer Dina denied circulating rumors that she was accused of murder. Rumors had it that the dancer was returning home from one of her dance performances at a hotel and decided to drive her car instead of the driver. The dancer was driving extremely fast and before reaching her home hit a man walking in the street, who died upon reaching the hospital.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Dina stated that she was taken into the police station in Cairo for the possession of drugs and alcohol.
The dancer added that she will do all she can to defend herself and will seek the help of tourist police to prove that she did not drive her car.
