Prominent Egyptian actress Elham Shaheen stated that she had not intended on starring in two different television drama this current Ramadan series. She stressed that her being in two dramas was based on a demand by producers who wanted her to star in different projects at the same time.

According to the London based Elaph, Elham revealed that each of her dramas is only 15 episodes one was screened the first half of Ramadan and the other the second part of Ramadan. Elham said that she decided that each drama would be 15 episodes so that the viewers are not bored by watching 30 episodes.

The first drama Elham starred in is “Imra’a Fi Warta” (A Woman in Trouble) and the second “Na’a Ma Zilt Anisah” (Yes I am still not married”, which many considered to have the same idea as the drama “Ayiz Atgawaz” (I want to get married), which stars Tunisian actress Hind Sabri and is being aired on MBC channel. Elham stressed that what Hind presents on her show is completely different than her own and there is no comparison.

Elham added that Hind’s show is about a young girl in her late twenties who wants to get married but cannot find the right man, whereas Elham’s drama is about a woman who reached the age of 45 without getting married.
