Tunisian singer Latifa denied circulating rumors that she has secretly gotten married and had an abortion. Latifa stressed that marriage is not something to be ashamed of and therefore she would never do it in secret.
Latifa stated that the reason she had not married is that she had not found the right person until now, revealing that hopefully in the near future she will be making a public announcement about her union with a special someone.
Latifa refused to reveal the identity of her special someone and his nationality stating that when you are in love these things do not matter.
According to the London based Elaph, Latifa also denied knowing who is behind creating rumors about her being involved with Iraqi singer Kathem El Saher, and before him with Lebanese singer Ragheb Alamah and others. Latifa said that she did not care who created these rumors because they are silly and do not deserve her wasting her time and comment on them.
