Iraqi singer Majed Al Muhandis has recorded a new song titled “Um Al Dunia” (Mother of the World) and dedicated it to Egypt. Majed himself composed the song and filmed a music video for it using special footage from his archive of concerts he held in Egypt.
The song will begin airing on a number of satellite channels and radio stations. Majed had dedicated the song to Egypt in the midst of chaos taking place with the uprising of the people against the current government.
On a different note, Majed is preparing to take part in the upcoming Kuwaiti Festival ‘Hello February’ for the first time.
