Iraqi singer Majid Al Muhandis has begun preparations for his upcoming album in Cairo. The new album is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2011. Majid has not yet chosen a title for the album and will be making that decision after choosing the songs to include in it.
The production company ‘Rotana’ will produce the album, and Majid has been holding extensive work sessions with a number of prominent poets and composers to choose the most appropriate songs. Majid has completed the recording for a number of songs and is in the process of choosing more.
Majid has also returned to holding live performances and is scheduled to perform at a number of concerts in different countries around the Arab world during the upcoming Muslim holiday Eid Al Adha and during New Year’s Eve.
