Prominent Egyptian actress Najla Fathi has announced that she would like to present a new film about the life of young Egyptian Khaled Saeed, who was one of the victims of the former Egyptian President Husni Mubarak’s regime. Najla stated that she would very much like to play the role of Khaled’s mother, because she feels the story would be full of events.
Najla revealed during an interview with the magazine ‘Al Kawakib’ that after the drastic change Egypt has witnessed with the recent revolution f the people against the regime of Mubarak, she will return once more to acting. Najla stressed that the reason behind her prolonged absence from the scenes is the corrupt political system that caused her great depression and the poor conditions Egypt was suffering from.
