Egyptian singer Shireen Abd Al Wahab announced that she will cancel her participation in the upcoming Kuwaiti ‘Hello February’ festival due to the current mass protests taking place in Egypt.
Shireen sent an apology letter to the organizers of the festival and to all her fans in Kuwait who were awaiting her performance. She thanked the organizers for understanding her reasons for not being able to perform.
According to the London based Elaph, Shireen said that Egypt is not only dear to Egyptians, but to all Arabs and asks God to protect Egypt and its people.
