Summer student ambassadors enroll at ADAC

Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) kicked off its annual Student Ambassador Summer Programme today, with over 150 students joining ADAC for work experience during July and August. Through ADAC’s Human Resources department organization, the programme is offered to UAE students from schools, colleges and universities for a wide range of business practices.
This year, ADAC is taking on three batches of 50 students, with placements in various business sectors throughout ADAC’s major divisions: ADAC Corporate, Commercial, Operations and Planning & Development in Abu Dhabi International Airport, Al Ain International Airport and Al Bateen Executive Airport, allowing them to experience the different aspects of the aviation business. The programme will allow students to learn about Airport Operations and Airport Management in addition to Customer Service and Hospitality.
Commenting on ADAC’s summer program, Captain Salem Al Khazraji, Emiratization Senior Manager at ADAC, said: “ADAC is delighted to host so many students on the sixth year of our summer work experience programme for UAE students. As a national company, we are committed to contributing to the community by providing youth with valuable activities during the long summer breaks, and also producing well trained and knowledgeable young talent that will in turn contribute to country’s local work force in the not too distant future.”
As part of ADAC’s human resources strategy, this summer programme ensures the appropriate preparation of the future workforce which will help the company achieve its vision of becoming an employer of choice.
