Toys “R” Us opens new store at Sharjah City Centre

Toys “R” Us, the world’s favourite toy retailer, today opened its new store in the heart of Sharjah at the popular Sharjah City Centre shopping mall. With the opening of the new store, the Al-Futtaim Group company now has 7 stores in the UAE and 14 across the MENA region.

Earlier this month Toys “R” Us also opened its new store at Deira City Centre. 

Troy Zunckel, General Manager of Toys “R” Us was joined by Geoffrey the Giraffe, Shrek and the super Mario Brothers – Mario and Luigi, at the ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the new store. Kids visiting the store were treated to Willie Wonka Chocolates and balloons along with a host of fun activities to celebrate the opening. 

Located on the Ground Floor, City Gate entrance, the new store at SCC offers an exclusive product range with an easy-to-shop floor layout. Parents will be able to take home the perfect toy for every occasion thanks to the assistance of knowledgeable toy-trained staff members.

The new store stocks quality toys for boys and girls, the latest and hottest games, educational and developmental toys, outdoor and sporting goods, electronics, software, and baby products, in over 6,000 sq. ft. of retail space. Live demonstrations of all the latest and hottest toys will be an on-going feature at the SCC store. 

The store also features products from Toys “R” Us exclusive brands such as Bruin, Animal Alley, You & Me, Pavilion and Fast Lane among others. 

The Babies “R” Us section offers a selection of products for newborns and infants, including cribs, furniture, car seats, strollers, high chairs, plush, safety gates, infant and pre-school toys, feeding accessories and day-to-day essentials including diapers. 

As part of its opening offer, the new store at SCC is offering customers AED 50/- gift voucher on every purchase of AED 200/- This offer is valid till July 31.
