In a recent study, almost 60 percent of surveyed businesses were found to be filling up vacant managerial and professional positions, up from 46 percent in Q1. Around 68 percent of polled companies said they will be hiring middle and senior-level talents within the next three months. While consultancy services are traditionally contracted by the private sector, the Gulf is witnessing a surge in demand from the public sector as well. This affirms a recent study indicating that the public sector now accounts for more than 30 percent of the global consulting market and is expected to grow its share at around nine percent annually. This can be attributed to the advantages of consulting services such as higher levels of efficiencies and productivity.
