Unleash the ‘Captain Sparrow’ in you with Reel Cinemas Pirates of the Caribbean 4 Amazing Race

The dock has opened up for civilians. Ten teams comprising the adventurous and who love the thrill of a treasure hunt have joined Reel Cinemas on the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 4 Amazing Race,’ to discover clues and eventually clinch the bounty. 

Reel Cinemas at The Dubai Mall and Dubai Marina Mall, operated by Emaar Retail, is celebrating the arrival of the fourth edition of the Pirates of the Caribbean with the exciting race for teams of two which will take place on May 14 at The Dubai Mall. 

While Captain Sparrow sifted the seas for the riches, the participating teams will have to uncover a series of clues set amidst the leisure attractions of The Dubai Mall including Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, Dubai Ice Rink, SEGA Republic, KidZania and Reel Cinemas. 

The ten teams selected from hundreds of entries will have to unlock clues given to them and complete each task successfully in order to get their next clue. Each task will require the participation of both the members of the team, and will be judged based on team work, speed and accuracy. 

To take part in the race, movie lovers only had to purchase two tickets for any movie that played at Reel Cinemas in The Dubai Mall or Dubai Marina Mall. Each registration required names of two participants that fit the requirement. The more entries submitted, the better the chance they had of getting selected. From the entries, ten random entries were chosen by Reel Cinemas. 

Before the event, each team will be called for a briefing and a minor physical health will be carried out in order to confirm the final participants. All team members must be over 18 years and in good physical health in order to participate in the race. 

The first team to tackle all their clues while abiding by the regulations stand to win the Reel Cinemas VIP card giving entry to any movie everyday for one year plus other attractive prizes or over AED 20,000. All participants will also receive tickets to watch the premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean 4 on May 18.
