Xerox unveils new corporate strategy: Back to growth in 2011

Xerox, the global leader in document management, technology and services, announced its regional plans for the Developing Markets in the Middle East at a three-day conference and workshop event which began on Tuesday, 18th January.  Xerox will be implementing new, strategic business plans for the developing markets, focusing on expanding & empowering the channel community as well as introducing an education series of programs that communicates Xerox’s quality services. 

The three day conference was held at the Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel in Dubai and hosted over 45 Senior Delegates & General Managers from Xerox, representing 11 countries across the UAE, GCC & Levant markets.  The conference addressed challenges, trends and opportunities in each country and included practical training workshops and programs. 

Xerox is working actively to further build upon its strong distribution network across the developing markets with the introduction of ‘Services University,’ a targeted series of training programs for 2011 to educate Xerox customers on their high-end Managed Print Services (MPS). 

Marcus Childs, Vice President & General Manager Xerox MEA and one of the key speakers at the conference stated, “Xerox’s initiative to provide practical training workshops reflects our commitment to the overall growth strategy for the Middle East region. We believe in providing quality service offerings that will enhance internal operations by improving the efficiencies of existing technologies and work process that provides cost-savings, productivity and sustainability for regional businesses today.” 

Looking ahead at the region’s leading print & publishing industry event, Gulf Print - taking place at the Dubai Airport Expo from the 14th – 17th March 2011, Xerox will be making further strategic announcements, including a refocus on Xerox corporate branding & regional sponsorships.
