Axiom Telecom has launched a convenient way to shop for phones and other mobile devices with the launch of a new online. The global online shopping platform will allow customers to enjoy the experience of shopping and buy their favorite mobile phones and accessories from anywhere in the world and get them delivered to their doorstep.

Customers can now visit Axtiom to begin shopping for all the same mobile phones and tablets available in-store online. The website will also offer all new products including those that have not been launched in the market yet to pre-order them for Axiom customers.

According to a survey published by Mastercard, the percentage of respondents in the UAE accessing the Internet for shopping increased from 29% in 2009 to 42% in 2010. Axiom’s new e-store addresses this growing demand for online services by offering all the same products as any Axiom retail location, but with the convenience of shopping from home, work or your mobile. Plus, there will be extra incentives and special offers that will only be available online, and all purchases will be delivered directly to the buyer’s door.

Axiom is seriously committed to protecting its customers’ security and privacy, which is why it has partnered with Network International, the largest acquirer and one of the leading payment solutions providers in the region, to provide the best online security features for credit card users, such as:

Axiom’s payment gateway will verify that your internet browser is running Secure Sockets Layer 3.0 (SSL) or higher;

Information is protected by SSL with an encryption key length of 168 bits (the highest level commercially available); and

The site is in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Customers can use both Visa and Mastercard to pay for their purchases and trust that their payment record will remain protected and confidential thanks to these rigid authentication protocols. However, for customers not using a credit card, payment can also conveniently be made via bank transfer or cash on delivery (COD).

“Axiom understands the need for a safe and secure online retail portal,” said Faisal Al Bannai, Axiom Telecom CEO. “Our many years of retail experience will allow us to provide the same great, convenient shopping options online that already exist in our stores, and the Axiom Promise is still there to ensure absolute satisfaction with our products and services.”

The Axiom Promise is a set of services promised to all customers, such as 24-48 hours delivery on all orders placed over the phone, a stand-by phone during repairs, 1 Hour express repair on Blackberry mobile phones, theft insurance, a price protection guarantee and more.

The new e-store will offer many additional services as well, such as:

24/7 customer support (both telephone and e-mail support);

Free shipping in the UAE (for orders over AED1000), with 1-hour delivery in Dubai;

One-Page easy checkout;

An exclusive 2-year warranty on all Nokia and Sony Ericsson phones;

Bundle offers which will be shipped at no extra charge; and

Coming soon – EA games will be downloadable directly from Axiom e-store, and du customers can get Instant Mobile recharge through the Axiom e-store.
