Bravo organizes a blood donation drive for its employees in the central region

Public Telecommunications Company (Bravo) organized a blood donation drive for its employees in Riyadh in cooperation with the Blood Bank of the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh. The initiative drew the participation of all company employees in the Central Region for a two-day period.

This campaign is part of Bravo’s social services initiatives organized on a periodic basis confirming its commitment to the community and supporting the efforts of the blood banks in the Kingdom to fulfill the needs of the hospitals and medical institutions by providing blood to victims of traffic accidents and surgeries across the Kingdom’s hospitals.

The Blood Bank Department at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh conveyed its appreciation to Bravo for this initiative highlighting the importance of social initiatives and CSR programs for companies operating in the Kingdom and their role to reinforce the Bank’s efforts ensuring there is enough quantities of blood to fulfill the needs of the hospitals.

According to the data from the Laboratory Department and Blood Banks in the Ministry of Health, the latest statistics indicate that the number of blood banks in the Kingdom has reached 253 banks of which 173 are run by the Ministry and 50 are run by the private hospitals while 30 are run by other sectors.
