An aging neck can give away a person’s age faster than any other part of the body. Many women will carefully protect their faces or possibly undergo some sort of facial rejuvenation and yet their necks show signs of significant sun damage.

Because the skin on the neck is much thinner than that of other areas on the face, it ages more readily. One such example is when fat is lost from under the neck; this can cause unsightly loose strands and bands of skin and muscle to appear which are often referred to as ‘turkey neck’.
