The Algerian minister responsible for the promotion of investment in the company has informed Algerian Channel III that some 652 state enterprises are on the brink of bankruptcy. The privatization policy is extremely unpopular and the minister is turning to the population to explain the major financial problems that endanger many sectors and jobs.
He also confirmed that he intends to privatize 100 enterprises until the end of the year of which 13 are in the agro food industry. Yahia Hamlaoui, said that the print works will be excluded from this process.
