More hotels will be opening in the UAE in 2018 than in any other country in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The latest MENA Hotel Contruction Report by TopHotelProjects says 83 hotels will open during the course of the year, with 200 in the pipeline, including 164 in Dubai, 25 in Abu Dhabi and 12 in Ras Al Khaimah.
“The spotlight is firmly on the hospitality industry in this region, particularly the UAE,” commented Ray Tinston, Portfolio Director of the dmg events Middle East, Asia and Africa hospitality portfolio which includes The Hotel Show, The Leisure Show and the Middle East Hospitality Awards, which took place this week.
