Valuevad, the value-added distributor for imaging and storage products and solutions in the Middle East and Africa, has partnered with ABBYY, a company dealing in document recognition and linguistic technologies.
ABBYY specializes in the development of software for Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Intelligent Character recognition (ICR) linguistics, semantics and electronic lexicopgraph. ABBYY products include the FineReader development tools.
“We are excited to launch ABBYY in these markets with Valuevad as our regional distributor,” stated Jupp Stoepetie, CEO of ABBYY’s European headquarters. “We are delighted with the service and support Valuevad provides to their resellers for the products they distribute. And since they are authorized Kofax Ascent Capture distributors, ABBYY's FineReader OCR and ICR custom modules for Ascent Capture would serve as an ideal value-added tool to Ascent” adds Stoepetie.
VALUEVAD (SARL) is a Value Added Distributor (VAD) for Kodak, Fujitsu, Bell & Howell Kofax, Plasmon, OTG and Mediaform. Its services extend throughout the Middle East and Africa Region to a customer base of authorized System Integrator (SI) and Value Added Re-seller (VAR) partners. — (menareport.com)
