Acer Computer (M.E.) Ltd. Thursday announced that it has diversified its product range in the Middle East by introducing projectors, which have been designed to meet the needs of the home and corporate markets.

The company – which has achieved high levels of success in the region’s notebook, desktop and monitor markets – is now looking to emulate that performance in the region’s growing digital projector sector.

“Renowned for providing consumers in the Middle East with innovative and high-quality technology, Acer recently noted that the home entertainment market had reached a high enough level of maturity to warrant the company diversifying its product line-up to include projectors,” said Krishna Murthy, general manager, Acer Computer (M.E.) Ltd.

“By taking the time to watch the market develop, Acer has been able to gauge what features consumers want and need from their projectors. The initial five projectors that we are launching in the Middle East combine functionality with affordability. We are confident that the combination of strong-performance and sensible pricing will satisfy the needs of corporate and home users,” added Murthy.
